Delicious food at fair prices. I had the arroz con polo and my husband had the fajitas Mexico. Large portions, tasty and great flour tortillas. Appreciated the bean dip and various salsas with the chips which were warm but nothing special. Good service. Definitely will return often.

Conveniently located beside the hotel I where I was staying, this little gem has good food and drinks. This was my second visit and I believe the management has changed since the last time. I had the shrimp burrito with grilled onions, peppers and covered in queso and it was delicious. I also had a pineapple margarita on the rocks that I couldn't finish but you can take it with you as they allow cocktails to go which is a plus.

This is a review for a visit on 10/14/2024, on what is now called indigenous peoples day. We were off that day and my real live adult son (a built-in designated driver) took me out for what was supposed to be breakfast but turned out to be brunch. I ordered the Carnitas. It came with beans and rice. My boy ordered the usual, which was a burrito. Came with the usual chips and salsa and that southern white sauce that tastes like "cool ranch". But what I definitely liked was that the complementary chips came with a bean dip/refried bean dip. I ordered a margarita. At my old big age I know what a margarita is. I just wanted a standard, you know, lime salt, or sugar rimmed but they gave me some kind of pineapple margarita with fruit. I brought this up. They said it was a regular margarita, whatever I ain't finna argue about no booze. Long story short the Carnitas were delicious. They were the most moistest and freshest Carnitas that I've ever had at a restaurant in this area. The chips were hot. The salsa was delicious. And all of that pineapple whatever kind of margarita got your girl drunk off that one drink, and It wasn't even 1pm yet. The day was lost. But whatever. Someone there said that they have burritos de desayunos and I'm definitely gonna have to try that. I recommend.

I really enjoyed coming here today. My little fella and I stopped by for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and there were only 2 other tables with guests, so we were seated immediately. The service was top notch! Not sure if it was because they weren't super busy, but the gentleman helping us was so attentive. The decor is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant, but with a modern twist (Frida Kahlo, but holding some... "fresh herbs" shall we say.) Not generally my vibe, but I did think it was a nice play on the generic hacienda scenes you normally see. The food was very good. My big guy always orders the same thing: French fries and Queso and he said it was delicious. I had a chicken tamale and the birria ramen and the birria was soooooooo tender. I had to use a spoon for some of it because it kept falling apart on my chopsticks. It was THAT tender. The broth was good - definitely not traditional ramen broth but was feeling it! A nice hefty squeeze of lime and it was awesome! The tamale was good too, not at all dry which tends to be my biggest complaint with them. They served it with some verde and some Queso for dipping. Yum! I also LOVED that they served a little bowl of beans alongside the salsa and white sauce. THIS is what I want to dip my chips in! It was very good and creamy, but also... what an awesome perk! I have never been to another restaurant that does that, but you better believe this will now be my go-to restaurant because of it. We also ordered some churros and they were really good! So crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. I also really liked that they have a picture menu on each table that lists their drinks, desserts, cocktails, etc. No guessing what kind of desserts they have, or how the drinks look. The attention to detail here really makes these place stand out in my opinion. This will definitely be our new place going forward!

Awesome! Friendly staff put the delicious chips and dips on the table within a minute of us sitting down. Multiple staff checked in with us to make sure we had ordered and the food was served quickly steaming hot, huge portion. The place is clean (including bathroom) with Mexican music and a very nice vibe. even asked if we'd like to try mango salsa (si!) everything was delicious!

Traveling back from a track meet for my son NC. Stopped off to grab some dinner and this spot didn't disappoint. I wasn't impressed with the margarita, but the food was great!

First visit to La Raina. Not sure what was here before, but from the outside and inside it gives the vibe of a diner. I was warmly greeted and was provided a menu. After a minute settled on a settled on a burrito loco. It was incredibly good and supplants another area restaurant as my favorite for a burrito. The salsas that came with the chips were also very good, but the chips themselves were just ok.. Based on only this dish, I highly recommend!

We chose LaReina for Friday night dinner & are glad we did. We were seated promptly and were brought the customary chips served with salsas, white sauce & bean dip. Our drink order was taken when chips were brought out & drinks were quick to follow. The staff checked up on us regularly throughout ensuring everything was good. I appreciate their genuine concern for providing great service. We know this isn't just a one-off as this was our fourth time visiting. Food was served hot & had excellent flavor.

A friend took me to La Reina for dinner and I was blown away by how great the food is here! First off, the complimentary chips and dips including salsa, a white dip, and a refried beans + queso dip are amazing. We couldn't stop eating these and practically finished our bowl of chips when our server offered to bring us more and we said "yes please!" The drinks are very reasonable and I ordered a Modelo Espescial 32 oz, which incredibly was only $7 (that is not even happy hour price). I was in the mood for seafood and our server recommended the burrito marino, which was a shrimp burrito with peppers and onions and topped with queso sauce. This was so good, the shrimp was fresh and the burrito was not stuffed with any filler, just great ingredients. Plus this came with rice, salad, pico de gallo, and guacamole. Such a great dish! The decor of the restaurant is pretty basic and still reminds me of the Denny's that was here before, but the superior service and great food offer a welcome contrast to it's former self. Two thumbs up!
